Genevieve "Peep" Fiasco, 75

of Curwensville died on Friday, March 5, 2004 at Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.

She was born on September 15, 1928 in Commodore, PA, a daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Smith) Witherite.

Mrs. Fiasco was employed by the former Superior Pet Products Company of Curwensville for 15 years.

She is survived by two daughters,
Barbara J. Kester and husband Terry
Jo Ann Summers both of Curwensville

four grandchildren,
Charles A. Kester and wife Judy Harrisburg
Michael A. Peters and wife Kristen DuBois
Bryan L. Kester and wife Kendi New York
Casey N. Summers Curwensville

four great-grandchildren,

two sisters,
Jackie Hamilton and husband Joseph Kerrmoor
Marlene Swatsworth and husband Harvey Chicago, IL

and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. “Scoop” Fiasco on September 6, 2003 and whom she married May 1, 1948 in the Baptist Church Parsonage in Ansonville by Rev. Amos Harnish, her twin brother Gene, brothers Charles and Jack, and her sisters Margaret, Lorraine, LaRue, and Zelma.

A memorial service will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Monday at 8:00 P.M. with Pastor Scott Schultz officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8:00 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Parkinson's Disease Association, 420 East North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
