Gerald G. Caldwell, 91, of Clearfield died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
He was born on January 31, 1922 in Clearfield, a son of the late Lonnie and Bessie (Brown) Caldwell.
Mr. Caldwell was employed as a painter and janitor at various locations around the Clearfield area.
He was a member of the former Allen AME Church of Clearfield.
He is survived by a sisters Evelyn McCoy of Clearfield; and a brother, Calvin Caldwell of Harrisburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Ruth Washington, Lorraine Jeffries, Artis Caldwell, Henrietta Enoch and Vermell Plato; and two brothers, Lonnie and James T. Caldwell.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 11 AM with Pastor Robert F. Henry officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 9-11 AM .
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Charity of one's choice.
