Gerald Marvin Knepp, 85, of Curwensville, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Gerald was born October 30, 1937 in Wallaceton and was the son of the late Horace and Pearl (Shimmel) Knepp of Wallaceton, PA.
Gerald attended Philipsburg High School.
He married the love of his life, Nancy L. Condon of Woodland, on September 28, 1956, who still resides at their Curwensville home.
Early in his career, he was employed by Walker Industries in Bigler, and then HRI, Inc. in State College, retiring after many years of service.
Gerald was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed bird watching, and he loved to play cards (which he usually always won). He loved music and played bass guitar in a local country band.
But above all he was a family man who loved his family dearly.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Bob, Burton, Terry, Daniel, and Rick, and one sister Marlene Graham. He has one surviving brother, Jim, of Wallaceton.
Gerald is survived by his wife Nancy and six children: Robert "Rudy" and his wife Margaret of Egypt,
Cindy Keith and her husband Ron of Wellsboro, Tamie Williams and her husband Henry of Clearfield, Anamorie "Frosty" Woods and her husband Clifford of West Decatur, Janette Corradini and her husband Chris of Glen Richey, Joseph and his wife Janet of Sanborn; and 21grandchildren, 7 step- grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A private service was held at Beardsley Funeral Home in Clearfield on Monday, January 23, 2023 for immediate family members.
