Geraldine C. Francisco, 97, of Clearfield died on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
She was born on April 4, 1925 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Arthur and Frances (See) Smith.
Mrs. Francisco, along with her husband, owned and operated Anthony's Heating and Air Conditioning in Island Lake, IL for 55 years. She enjoyed decorating for all holidays and playing solitaire. She also enjoyed entertaining the neighborhood kids as her own boys were growing up. Mrs. Francisco and her husband traveled the world, memories which she cherished.
She was catholic by faith.
She is survived by a son, Michael A. Francisco and wife Lauren of Clearfield; six grandchildren, Michael Francisco Jr. and wife Tiffany, Joshua Francisco and companion Rebecca, Jenna Douglas and husband Tyler, Joey Francisco and wife Erin, Samantha Gluchman and husband Nick, and Amanda Payne and husband Dan; eleven great grandchildren, Dylan, Nolan and Mason Francisco, Avery Douglas, JJ and Shelby Francisco, Nicole, Dominic and Elle Gluchman, Danial and Maddie Payne; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Francisco of Genoa City, WI; a close family friend, Mickey Schact and wife Susan of Lake Zurich, IL; a few nieces and a nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Francisco Sr. on April 6, 2009. She was also preceded in death by a son; Joseph A. Fancisco Jr.; and two sisters, Nyla Pickert and Icel Younke.
The family would like to thank Peg at Graystone, Joe and Joann Hudson, Vickie Green, Dr. Elkins and Shannon, Conemaugh Nurses, Dr. Hoffman and wound clinic nurses, and the Clearfield Hospital for the care of Mrs. Francisco.
There will be no services observed, per Mrs. Francisco's request. Entombment will be in the All Saints Cemetery and Mausoleum in Des Plaines, IL.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Kerr Addition United Methodist Church, 117 Mapes Avenue, Clearfield, PA 16830 .
