died peacefully on Saturday, April 10, 2004 having been cared for by Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville and the many services of Clearfield Hospital.

Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James Berry, William Berry and Joseph Berry, and by sisters, Sister Loretta (Anna) Berry and Louise Roessner. For 56 years she was married to Forest E. Dohner, former real estate broker, who died in 1998. and her many special friends and extended family members.

‘Trudy” took her profession as a mother and grandmother seriously. She served more large meals than the army and always welcomed friends and family into her home. She was a fervent believer in the power of prayer and with children in tow, made many trips to St. Sebastian Church to pray; she had a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She lived her life fully and knew that her greatest enjoyment came not from things, but from time spent with her family and friends. In hard times she could serve a large family dinner with a gallon of milk and a can of oysters. In good times no one could put out a feast like she did at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She cherished her membership in the St. Sebastian Church, where she had belonged since 1948. She served in the St. Sebastian Sanctuary Society, Garden Club, Dramatic Club, the Christ Child Society, and especially the Church Choir.

A celebration of Trudy’s life and Mass of the Christian Burial will be said on Monday, April 12, 2004 at 10:00 AM. at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, with Father Stephen J. Dohner and Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. concelebrating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Clearfield.
