Glenn Morrison

April 23, 1930 — April 3, 2005

Glenn Allen Morrison, 74

of New Millport went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside Hospital.

He was born on April 23, 1930 in Clearfield, a son of the late Harry E. and Stella A. (Braniff) Morrison.

Mr. Morrison served in the US Navy from 1947 until 1950. Upon his return to Clearfield, he then was employed by the former Harbison-Walker Refractories until 1983.
He attended the Lighthouse Evangelical Church of West Decatur and in 1971 came to know the Lord as his Savior and has served Him since.
Glenn's love for God and his family was the greatest treasure he possessed.
In his younger days, he enjoyed bowling and hunting.

On December 20, 1952 in the Presbyterian Church, Clearfield he wed the former Lettie Myers who survives along with four children, Michael Morrison and wife Jackie of Clearfield, Lisa Zolock and husband Ed of Rostraver, Linda Barba and husband Carmen of Clearfield and Jedediah Morrison of Clearfield,

four grandchildren, LaTisha Igoe and husband Tom of Rostraver, Russell, Parsha and Tyler Hurley all of Clearfield

one great grandson, Malon Igoe Rostraver

and numerous nieces and nephews including a close nephew, Robert Morrison and his wife Genny of Akron, OH.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Paul, Floyd 'Dutch', Chester and Ray Morrison and sisters, Lorraine Lynch and Myra Pyles.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. Steven R. Millinder officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the members of the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and the Clearfield VFW Post #1785 honor guard.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-9 PM and on Thursday from 10-11:00 AM.
