Glennard J. "Keno" Aveni, 74
of R.D.#1, Clearfield died on Thursday, July 4, 2002 at his residence.
He was born on August 4, 1927 in Woodland, PA, a son of the late James and Elva (Hull) Aveni.
Mr. Aveni retired as the head sewing machine mechanic at McGregor Sportswear after many years of service. He was a member of the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post #6, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812 and the Loyal Order of the Moose, Clearfield.
A veteran of the Army Air Force, he served during World War II.
He is survived by a daughter,

four sisters,

Geraldine Parks both of Mineral Springs

Beverly Hurley Hyde
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Verna Peters and Gloria Rauch.
A memorial service will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Stanley Wisor officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Military honors will be accorded by the members of the Clearfield American Legion and VFW Posts.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from 9 until the time of service.
