Harry William Bailey, Sr., 71
of Hyde died on Friday, May 28, 2010 at his residence.
He was born on December 2, 1938 in Mahaffey, a son of the late Ruth E (Bailey) Miller and a step son of the late William E. Miller.
Mr. Bailey owned and operated a cleaning business in the Clearfield area. He had also been employed as a furniture mover for DeHaven North American Van Lines, Durham, NC.
He was Protestant by faith.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Shirley (Keith) Pyle of Hyde,
three children, Harry Bailey, Jr. of Durham, NC, Ruth Ann Bailey of Creedmoor, NC, Brenda Lee Duncan of Roxboro, NC,
5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson,
and a sister, Connie Butler and husband Tim of Clearfield
In addition to his mother and step-father, he was preceded in death by a brother John Franklin Bailey and an infant brother Kenny.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday at
7:00 P.M. with Pastor Ken Claflin officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 - 7:00 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield PA 16830
