Helen M. Addleman, 86 of Curwensville died on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on May 21, 1922 in Grampian, a daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Wriglesworth) Curry.
Mrs. Addleman was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Curwensville Presbyterian Church where she belonged to the Berean Bible Class. She was also a member of the Friendship Club. She loved quilting and poetry and had a book of her poetry published.
She is survived by three children,

Diana Owens and husband James of Punxsutawney, PA
Stephen Addleman and wife the former Sharon Baun of Curwensville, PA
six grandchildren,

Janie Swatsworth and husband Rod
Steve Addleman
6 great grandchildren
a brother,
Lex Curry of Curwensville
and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde J. Addleman, on July 15, 1993 and whom she wed on April 4, 1942 in Hepburnia, a grandson, Matthew Addleman, three sisters, Pearl McFadden, Ruth Curry and Electa Cleaver and three brothers, Charles, Ralph and Raymond Curry.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Saturday at
11:30 A.M. with Rev. Daniel T. Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:30-11:30 AM
