Helen Dunworth

Helen R. (Ritz) Dunworth, 96 of Grampian died on Monday, March 9, 2009.

She was born on May 9, 1912 in Clymer, a daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Miarchik) Ritz.

Mrs. Dunworth attended the Bible Fellowship Church, Luthersburg.

She is survived by eight children,
John Dunworth and wife Frances of Grampian
Vern Dunworth and wife Kathy of DuBois
James Dunworth and wife Patricia of Luthersburg
Arnold Dunworth and wife Linda of Grampian
Nancy Neeper and husband LeRoy of Curwensville
Lois McMasters of Doylestown
Jean Mathews and husband Butch of Grampian
Joan Heichel of Pottersdale

20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren,

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Ira Dunworth on November 26, 1978 and whom she married April 17, 1930 in Maryland, a daughter Marjorie Kathleen Bailey on June 19, 1980, a grandson Ronald Edward Dunworth on July 1, 1982, two sons in law, Keith McMasters and Clair Heichel and five sisters and three brothers.

She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday at
11:00 A.M. with Pastor Charles M. Lee, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 PM and on Friday from 10-11:00 AM

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Bible Fellowship Church, Route 219, Draucker Woods, Luthersburg, PA 15848.
