Helen A. Hugar, 86, of Clearfield died on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on August 19, 1920 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Glenn and Stella (McCloskey) Ardery.
Mrs. Hugar was employed by the former Clearfield Furs and was an assistant for Dr. J. H. Mohr, OD.
She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Louis M. Hugar, whom she wed October 27, 1940 in St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield; a daughter, Diane Fitzgibbon and her husband, Larry of Clearfield; a granddaughter, Joelle Segrue and her husband, David, of Lake in the Hills, Illinois; two great grandsons; and a brother and sister, Glenn Ardery, Jr. and his wife, Alice, and Evelyn Pentz all of Clearfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
There will be no public visitation.
