Helen Kresge

Helen E. Kresge, 70

of Clearfield died on Friday, September 12, 2003 at Altoona Hospital.

She was born on January 8, 1933 in LeContes Mills, PA, a daughter of the late Gabriel and Mary Madeline (Mindek) Belinda.

Mrs. Kresge had been employed at the former Superior Pet Products for 9 years and prior to that she worked for the former Kents Sportswear for 10 years.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, the Rosary and Altar Society and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812.

She is survived by two brothers and four sisters,

Katheryn Orlosky Lititz
Hannah Orlosky Philipsburg

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Kresge, whom she wed on July 19, 1952 in St. Francis Church in Clearfield, a sister Margaret Belinda and five brothers, Andy, Mike, John, Steve and Joseph Belinda.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday from
2-4:00 PM and 7-9:00 PM.

On Monday at the funeral home, the rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM and a Christian Vigil service will be recited at 8:30 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield PA 16830 or Saint Francis Church, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
