Helen L. Williams, 80, of Clearfield died on Friday, August 4, 2006 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on April 28, 1926 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Baker) Fye.
Mrs. Williams was employed at the Clearfield Best Western for many years.
She was Presbyterian by faith and was a member of the ladies auxiliaries of the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons, Linda Mayhew and husband Kenneth of Clearfield, Delores Fye of Clearfield, Patricia Buck and husband Robert of Shawville, Robert H. Williams of Clearfield, Robert L. Fye and wife Ruth of DuBois; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. 'Preach' Williams on January 30, 2002 and whom she married June 28, 1952 in Clearfield, a daughter Sandra Lee Williams, a sister Betty J. Segraves and her brother Bo Fye.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
