Herman Wisor

Herman E. Wisor, 65, of Mineral Springs died on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.

He was born on October 9, 1948 in Mineral Springs, a son of the late Merrill and Bernice (Wisor) Wisor.

Mr. Wisor retired from Bayer Clothing, where he began in 1972. After his retirement, he had been employed at NAPA Auto in Philipsburg. Mr. Wisor was a member of the Mineral Springs Bible Tabernacle Church. A veteran of the US Army, Mr. Wisor served in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by four sisters, Carole Pry and husband Pastor Ken of Mineral Springs, Hope Casher and husband Charles of Mineral Springs, Crystal Wisor of Mineral Springs and Beth Ann English and husband Brady of Hawk Run; three brothers, Barry Wisor and wife Bonnie of Woodland, Hershel 'Ted' Wisor and companion Sandy Lewis of Woodland and Patrick Wisor of Mineral Springs; a brother-in-law Robert Lyle of Woodland; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Lytle.

Funeral services will be held at the Mineral Springs Bible Tabernacle Church on Wednesday at 11 AM with Pastor Kenneth Pry officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday from 3:30-7 PM and at church on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Mineral Springs Bible Tabernacle Church, PO Box 8, Mineral Springs 16855.
