Howard H. Cutler, 72, of Clearfield died on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at DuBois Regional Medical Center - West.
He was born on March 6, 1934 in Hyde, a son of the late Paul and Lillian (Irwin) Cutler.
Mr. Cutler retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant.
He is survived by his wife, Helga Baumgartner Cutler, whom he wed December 15, 1957 in Imsbach, Germany; four children, George W. Cutler and wife Jeanne of Fairfax, VA, Howard Cutler and wife Margaret Haag of Curwensville, Virginia K. Bower and husband Terry of State College, Sandra L. Pry and husband Timmy of Montgomery,
seven grandchildren; Jessica Cutler, Jeffery Hancq, Tyler Pry, Troy Pry, Jeremy Cutler, Kalee Cutler and Christian Hancq-Woodford; two step grandchildren, Yvette Lee and Elaine Hargis;
four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Willard Cutler of Clearfield, John Cutler of Clearfield, and Sam Cutler of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Burton and Robert A. Cutler, and two sisters, Jessie Cutler and Pauline Wilkerson.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 2:00 P.M. with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and Clearfield VFW Post #1785 honor guard.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
