of Clearfield died on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at his residence.
He was born on January 29, 1955 in Clearfield, a son of Virgie (Haag) Madera of Grampian and the late Joseph B. Madera.
Mr. Madera was the former owner of Clearfield Glass. He was Catholic by faith.
In addition to his mother he is survived by a son, Scott J. Madera and wife Kimberly of DuBois,
three grandchildren, Caleb, Julie and Elissa Madera,
three brothers and five sisters, Joseph A. Madera and wife Kristine of Asheville, NC, Charles Madera and wife Vivian of Grampian, Robert F. Madera and wife Sue of Grampian, Marie Mullins and husband Merlin of Grampian, Judy Kessler and husband Dale of Grampian, Edith Detrio of Curwensville, Sister Ruth Ann Madera C.A. of Clearfield, Margie Price and husband Rob of Grampian
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Grampian on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. with Father Philip J. Billotte as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Thursday from 8:30-9 AM.
A Christian Vigil service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:15 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 602, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.
