Hugh D. Martell, 56

of 708 Crozier Avenue, Clearfield died on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at his residence.

He was born on May 23, 1947 in LeContes Mills, a son of the late Hugh and Gladys (Welch) Martell.

Mr. Martell was employed by Glenn O. Hawbaker Construction for 11 years and also by Moshannon Paving.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Maines Martell, whom he married June 13, 1965 in Clearfield

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Jerry J. Martell, Jr., two infant brothers and one infant sister.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. James Fleeger officiating. Interment will follow in the Keewaydin Cemetery, RD, Frenchville.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from
2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Saturday from 10-11:00 AM

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 119 East Market Street, Clearfield PA 16830.
