Inez A. Gelnett, 78
of DuBois and formerly of Curwensville died on Monday, September 15, 2003 at DuBois Nursing Home.
She was born on May 31, 1925 in Knoxdale, PA, a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Hatten) Thompson.
Mrs. Gelnett retired from the former Clearfield Cheese Company after 27 years of service.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by three children,
Melvin 'Ed' Gelnett Rockton
David E. Gelnett Emporium
Julia L. Livergood Clearfield
7 grandchildren,
a brother
John Thompson DuBois
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Paul Hartzfeld, her husband, Perry E. Gelnett and two sisters Rhoda T. Morris and Ida Mae Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. Greg Harbaugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Rockton Cemetery, Rockton.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7-9:00 PM and Wednesday from
10-11:00 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Blizzard Box Program of the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging , PO Box 550, Clearfield PA 16830.
