Irene Hudson, 90 of Clearfield died on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on October 6, 1918 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Steve and Sophia (Bellai) Haversack.
Mrs. Hudson was homemaker.
She is survived by two sons,
Richard S. Hudson and wife Beverly of DuBois
Edward G. Hudson and wife Jennifer of Clearfield
five grandchildren,
Thomas, Susan, Kimberly, Tiffany, and Jessica
ten great grandchildren
a sister,
Anne Cathcart of Curwensville
a sister-in-law,
Dorothy Nelson of Hyde
and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roper R. Hudson, Jr., on May 5, 1983, and whom she wed on April 17, 1936, four sisters, Sophia Wisor, Clara Streke, Agnes Duckett and Mary Haversack and six brothers, Leroy, John, Frank, Andrew, Steve and Charles Haversack;.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at
10:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Saturday from
9-10 AM.
