J. Marillyn Lester, 82, of Clearfield died on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Somerset Hospital, Somerset.
She was born on October 5, 1928 in Mt. Jewett, a daughter of the late Glenn and Helen (Carlson) Wolfe.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Curwensville.
She is survived by three children, Gay Cooper and husband Michael of Smethport; Jon Lester and wife Wanda of Salisbury and Harold Lester and wife Carol of Export; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and a sister, Lael Giles of Rockton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Richard Lester on January 10, 1992 and whom she married October 15, 1946 in Kane and a brother Darl Wolfe.
Funeral services will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church, Curwensville on Wednesday at10 AM with Pastor Richard Steuernagle officiating. A committal service and interment will follow at 2 PM at the Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery, Kanesholm, with Pastor Theodore Benson officiating.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 South Second Street, Clearfield.
