Jack Clapsaddle

Jack R. Clapsaddle, 85, of Clearfield passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at his home.
He was born November 15, 1938, a son of the late Lloyd and Evelyn (Hess) Clapsaddle.
Mr. Clapsaddle worked as a crane operator for the Operating Engineers Local 77.
He was a 33rd Degree Mason with the Collington Lodge of Bowie, MD, and also a member of the Shriners with the Almas Temple of Washington DC.
He is survived by his daughter, Jackie Verhun and husband David of Clearfield; two grandsons, David Matthew Verhun and wife Tammi of Oahu, HI, and Christopher Jack Verhun and wife Nicole of Marbury, MD; three great-grandchildren, Lila and Lily Verhun of Oahu, HI, and Dean Patrick Verhun of Marbury, MD.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Arlene (Roland) Clapsaddle on January 18, 2021. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Ross; and a brother, Dennis Clapsaddle.
Honoring Jack’s wishes, there will be no public services.
