James Anderson

James C. Anderson, 63

of Clearfield died on Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Westmoreland Regional Hospital in Greensburg.

He was born on January 16, 1940 in Clearfield, PA, a son of the late William Frederick and Florence M. (Duckett) Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was the president of West Side Distributing, Clearfield.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, the Knights of Columbus Clearfield Council #409, the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #540, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #812. He also belonged to the Clearfield Loyal Order of Moose #97, the Clearfield Sons of Italy Lodge and the Third Ward Fire Company. In addition, he was a former Cubmaster of Pack #9.

On May 5, 1973 in St. Francis Church in Clearfield he wed the former Colleen McClincy who survives along with two children,

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, five infant children preceded him in death.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from
2-5 & 7-9 PM and on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 AM.

At the funeral home on Friday, a Christian Vigil Service will be recited at 2:30 PM and the Elks Memorial Service will be said at 6:30 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund , 212 South Front Street, Clearfield or American Cancer Society , 119 East Market Street, Clearfield.
