James Cummings, 57, of Grampian died on Monday, August 26, 2013 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born on July 5, 1956 in Detroit, MI, a son of Sally (Walsh) Cummings of Grampian and the late Francis Cummings.
He was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Grampian.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three brothers and a sister, Chris Cummings and his wife Kathy of Bells Landing, Dan Cummings and his wife Alexa of Grampian, Frank Cummings and his life time partner Lance Spencer of Sarasota, FL, and Colleen Cummings and her fiance Mick Ramsey of Grampian.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Cummings.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday, from 3 - 8 pm. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7 pm with Fr. Mark J. Mastrian officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 461 Main Street, Grampian, PA 16838.
