James Lee Price, 89, of Clearfield passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.
He was born on March 29, 1934 in Clearfield, a son of the late Leo Price and Mabel (Hickok) Price Marafine.
Jim served with the US Army in Korea for two years.
He worked for 19 years as a cutter for Cleardon, and then retired from Bayer Clothing in 1996 after 24 years as a cutting manager.
Jim loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing, boating, and hunting with his grandchildren. He loved going on vacations to Florida and hiking in New Hampshire. He also had a love for Beagle dogs.
Jim was a man of integrity with a strong faith. He attended the Philipsburg Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Jean (Livergood) Price whom he wed April 5, 1957 in San Antonio, TX; four children, Valerie Freeman of St. Cloud, FL, Vicki (Chip) Wriglesworth Crawford of Clearfield, Holly (Mark) McKolosky of DuBois, and James W. Price of Reading; six grandchildren, Eric (Kelly) Wriglesworth, Shane (Alexis) Wriglesworth, Broc (Lani) McKolosky, Allanah (Robert) Freeman, Alexis Crawford, and Nicholas Crawford; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Tom (Roberta) Marafine of Cambridge Springs; and a son-in-law, Dennis (Pam) Wriglesworth.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at the Mount Zion Cemetery, Olanta.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield SPCA, 275 21st St., Clearfield, PA 16830; or Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic, 1380 Shawville Hwy, Woodland, PA 16881.
