Janet Price

Janet 'Jean' Price, born on March 19, 1937, in Clearfield, PA, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024, at the age of 87. A lifelong resident of Clearfield, Jean was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who enriched the lives of those around her unwavering faith and kind spirit.

Jean dedicated her life to her family and her church. In her earlier years, she was actively involved in her church community, serving as a Sunday School Teacher and as treasurer. Her deep faith was foundational to her life, she took great joy in reading the Bible daily. She was known for her heartfelt prayers and her commitment to serving the Lord.

Beyond her spiritual life, Jean cherished spending time with her loved ones. She created lasting memories throguh camping trips, picnics, and family vacations. Jean also enjoyed social outings, particularly coffee dates with friends and coworkers. A true animal lover, she shared her home with many furry companions throughout her life.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Valerie Freeman of St. Cloud, FL, Vicki (Chip) Wriglesworth Crawford of Clearfield, Holly (Mark) McKolosky of DuBois; her son, James Price of Reading; her cherished grandchildren, Eric (Kelly) Wriglesworth, Shane (Alexis) Wriglesworth, Broc (Lani) McKolosky, Allanah (Robert) Small, Alexis Crawford, Nicholas (Emily) Crawford; twelve great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Dennis (Pam) Wriglesworth. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Thurston and Edith Livergood, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, James Price, and three sisters.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, Clearfield on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 11 AM with Pastor Matt Brown officiating.

A visitation will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearifeld on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 4-7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church; The Vine Free Methodist Church; or the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic.
