Janet Charlotte 'Peggy' Rosselli, 96, of Clearfield died on December 23, 2024 at Colonial Courtyard.
Peggy was born March 1, 1928 in DuBois, PA. She was the daughter of Charles Logan and Janet (Thomas).
She was a graduate of DuBois High School and a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.
Peggy was a co-owner of Rosselli Music Center with her husband, Tony, in Philipsburg from 1959-1985. She also served as a long time committee member for the local chapter of the American Association of Retired People.
She enjoyed going to Penn State football games and watching them on tv, along with watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles as part of her daily routine.
Peggy loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most of all, she loved hosting family gatherings on holidays, where everyone enjoyed 'Mugga's' cooking and baking.
She is survived by three children, Cynthia 'Cindy' (Mark) Ellenberger of Pennsylvania Furnace, Susan (Fred) Kavelak of Clearfield, and Anthony (Julie) Rosselli II of Brevard, NC; a son-in-law, Steve Shedlock of State College; six grandchildren Lindsay (Shawn) Evans, Carissa (Bart) Redmond, Taylor Rosselli, Katelyn Rosselli, Alyssa (Jenna) Bretz, and Ainsley Shedlock; four great-grandchildren, Quinlen Evans, Beckett Evans, Ilsa Redmond and Elliott Redmond; and many nieces, nephews, and friends of the family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony R. 'Tony' Rosselli, on December 18, 2007. They married July 10, 1948.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Shedlock; a grandson, John Gary Rosselli, and her sisters and brother.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 10 AM with Fr. Robert Horgas as celebrant.
A visitation will be held at Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory, Clearfield on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 2-5 PM.
Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Francis Catholic Church, 212 S. Front St., Clearfield, PA 16830; or to the St. Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 230 S. Second St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
