Janice E. Bell, 66

of 503 W. Locust Street, Clearfield died on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at Clearfield Hospital.

She was born on August 5, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY, a daughter of the late Lauren and Margaret (Miller) Cody.

Mrs. Bell was employed by the Clearfield County Tax Claim Bureau. Prior to that she worked for the U.S. Postal Service and was a homemaker.
She was catholic by faith and was a former CCD Teacher and Eucharistic Minister. In addition, she was a former Cub Scout Leader.

She is survived by five children
Maurene Inlow and husband Charles Clearfield
Diana Rowles and husband Dan Frenchville
Kenneth Bell and wife Michele West Decatur
Daniel Bell and wife Jolene Clearfield
Paula F. Owens and husband Jeffrey Frenchville

nine grandchildren,
Laura Inlow, Michael Inlow, Lindsey Rowles, Mandy Rowles, Matthew Bell, Justin Bell, Jenna Bell
Vincent Owens and Cristianna Owens.

two sisters,
Jacqueline Colosi Niagara Falls, NY
Charlene Jones Niagara Falls, NY

two goddaughters,
Kathy Paterson and husband Keith Austin, TX
Chris Fyock and husband Vern Belleville, MI

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Fay Bell, on
January 30, 1978 and whom she married August 18, 1956 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Niagara Falls, NY, a sister Laurene A. Bell and an infant brother Charles Cody.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at
10:00 A.M. with Rev. Jay E. Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Congress Hill Cemetery, LeContes Mills.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-9:00 PM and on Monday from
9-10:00 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 602, Pittsburgh PA 15235.
