Jeanne T. Guenther, 89 of Clearfield died on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.

She was born on October 15, 1915 in Sharpsburg, PA, a daughter of the late Harry and Nellie R. (Malley) Miller.

Mrs. Guenther was a homemaker and was previously employed by Kaufmann's. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.

She is survived by her husband, Frank J. Guenther, whom she married April 23, 1949 in East Liberty, PA
two daughters, Judith Bungo and husband Charles of Clearfield and Janet Spahr and husband Rev. John Spahr of Warren, five grandchildren, Judith Bungo, Charles Bungo, John Spahr II, Matthew Spahr and Margaret Spahr, a great grandson, John Spahr III, two brothers, Harry Miller of North Versailles and Charles Miller of Forest Hills and a sister, Ruth Bastille of Boston, MA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Jeanne Guenther, brothers, Tom, George and Robert Miller and sisters Mary McGahan and Mercedes Stern.

A memorial mass will be said at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Samuel G. Bungo as celebrant. Interment will be in the Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock, PA

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Disease & Related Disorders, Inc., 441 Smithfield Street Building, Pittsburgh PA 15222 or to the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Activities Department, 700 Leonard Street, Clearfield.

The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
