Jeanne E. Neal, 88 of New Millport died on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on April 10, 1920 in Woodland, a daughter of the late Karl and Ora (Mullen) Wisor.
Mrs. Neal was a homemaker. Previously, she was employed by the former Clearfield Cheese for twenty seven years.
She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church of New Millport and had been a member of The Presbyterian Church of Curwensville for a number of years. She was also a member of the Clearfield Chapter No. 379, Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a daughter,

six grandchildren,
Paula Thorp and husband Christopher of Hepburnia
Michael Bloom and wife Gwen of Columbus, MS
Gary Bloom and wife Kim of Curwensville
Susan Kephart and husband Doug of Glen Richey
Jason Bloom and wife Tess of Julian RD
Daniel Bloom and wife Susan of Portage, OH
ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. Neal on September 3, 1996 and whom she wed on April 28, 1940 in Juniata, four sisters and a brother, Elaine Warren, Josephine Bell, Rachel Smeal, Mary Kathryn Livingston, and John Wisor.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Richard Steuernagle officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 10-11 a.m.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Salem Lutheran Church, 406 Pine St., Curwensville, PA 16833 or Curwensville Public Library, 601 Beech Street, Curwensville PA 16833
