Jennie Miller

Jennie V. Miller, 87

a resident at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and formerly of 317 Bigler Ave., Clearfield, died on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the center.

She was born on October 22, 1917 in New Haven, CT, a daughter of the late Samuel and Frances (Chiodo) Lombardo, Sr.

Mrs. Miller was employed by the former McGregor Sportswear. After that, she moved to Warren and was employed by the Warren State Hospital for 18 years, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was also employed by the Keystone Nursing Home, Warren and was a private duty nurse for families in Warren.

She is survived by six step-children,

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Miller, on March 2, 1998 and whom she married June 1, 1950, brothers Joseph, Samuel, Charles, James, and Sylvester Lombardo and two infant brothers and one infant sister.

At the request of the family there will be no public visitation or funeral services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Catholic Church, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield.

The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
