Joan Collins, 74, of Clearfield died on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at her home.
She was born on June 8, 1941 in Penn Township, a daughter of the late Frank 'Pete' and Lorraine (Witherite) Adnisky.
During Joan's 47 years of marriage, she was a farm wife who faithfully helped her husband operate Collins' Dairy Farm.
She enjoyed sewing, crafts and cooking.
Joan was unconditionally devoted to her family.
She is survived by three children, Michele Moyer and husband Jim, Kimberly Michaels and husband Robert, Christopher Collins and wife Nancy, all of Clearfield: four grandchildren, Michael Moyer, Seth Michaels, Amy Fry and husband Dan and Zachary Lawhead and wife Tonya; four great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Brandon Fry, Zoe Lawhead and Josh Bowery; and two sisters, Carole Jury and husband Mel of Stronach and Karen Barger and husband Wilbur of Shiloh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David O. Collins on January 2, 2008 and whom she wed October 7, 1961 in Clearfield. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Dolores 'DeeDee' Antonuk and Mona Adnisky; and two brothers, William and John Adnisky.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Stephen DeSantis officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10-11:00 am.
