Joanne M. Wilson, 76, of Clearfield died on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Clearfield Hospital.

She was born on February 28, 1930 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late James Hartwick and Theressa (Farrell) Logan.

Mrs. Wilson was a licensed practical nurse and was employed at the former Clear Haven Nursing Home.
She was a member of St. Francis Church, Clearfield and the Rosary and Altar society of the church. She also belonged to the Chinkcalamoose Square Dance Club and the Round Robins Dance Club.

She is survived by three children, Herbert J. Wilson and wife Kathy of Clearfield, Alan L. Wilson and wife Richenda of Bangor and Theresa A. Molnau and husband Wade of Minneapolis, MN; seven grandchildren, Ryan Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Justin Wilson, F'lar Wilson, Devin Molnau, Brenna Molnau and Elizabeth Molnau; two great grandchildren,
and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert M. Wilson on June 23, 2003 and whom she wed September 2, 1950 at St. Francis Church, Clearfield; a grandson, Alec Molnau; two sisters, Catherine Bollinger and Jean Garman; and a brother, Richard Logan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from 4-8 PM and on Saturday from 9-9:30 AM.

At the funeral home on Friday a Christian Vigil Service will be held at 7:45 PM.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield or Clearfield Foundation for Health – Hospice, P.O. Box 992, Clearfield.
