Joan P. 'Jody' Yost, 80, of Clearfield died on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Penn Highlands Brookville.
She was born on March 19, 1944 in Hyde City, a daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy Pearce.
Jody graduated from St Francis High School and then earned her Bachelor's degree from Rosemont College. She was a real estate agent and appraiser with Amon Shimmel and Walsh after over 30 years of employment. She had also worked at PennDOT as an appraiser.
Jody enjoyed an active lifestyle playing golf, tennis and canoeing. She even learned pickleball over the past year.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Pearce B. Yost of NC, William R Yost of Clearfield, and Maryah Yost and husband Steven Redrup of NC; a granddaughter, Morgan Redrup and a former daughter-in-law Erin Yost.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel B. Yost on December 12, 2017.
A casual reception will be held at the Clearfield Curwensville Country Club on Saturday June 29th from 2 - 4 pm.
