John Langford

John J. Langford, 61, of Clearfield passed away on May 9, 2024 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on August 21, 1962 in Clearfield, to the late Thomas A. and Charlotte I. (Buck) Langford.

He was a 1980 graduate of Clearfield Area High School and went on to work at Wolf Furniture, Manson Bus Company (now Fullington), then PennDot. He retired in 2020 as a Supervisor at the Clearfield Driver's License Center.

In his free time, John enjoyed spending time with family, listening to music, and watching movies and westerns. He enjoyed going to plays and musicals, car shows, flea markets, and auctions.

John was a proud member of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge #480

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Langford of Clearfield; two daughters, Andrea (Daniel) Barr of Altoona, and Carly (Shain) Langford of Clearfield; and grandchildren, Declan Barr, Madilynn McCreadie, and Callan Barr. He is also survived by his sisters, Charlene (Kenneth) Coder of Clearfield, and JoAnn Eichler of Niagara Falls; his best friend, Michael (Connie) Smith of Lewistown; nephews, Kenneth (Ann) Coder, Jr., Brian (Jessica) Coder, and Jason (Dawn) Coder; and several great nieces and nephews and their children.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step father, Lawrence E. Moyer; brother, Thomas Langford; sister, Louise Thomas; mother-in-law, Lola Lombardo; and brother-in-law, Dennis Coble.

Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 12 PM with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 AM - 12 PM.
