John A. Natoli, 78
of 112 N. West Fourth Avenue, Clearfield died on Friday, June 14, 2002 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on April 5, 1924 in Clearfield, PA, a son of the late Joseph C. and Anna E. (Sansone) Natoli.
Mr. Natoli retired from Harbison Walker Refractories, Number 2 Brickyard in 1983 after forty-two years of service.
He had been the caretaker of Calvary Cemetery since 1985.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic minister as well as visiting the sick in their homes. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Clearfield Council #409, as well as the Clearfield Fourth Degree Assembly, the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post #6 and the Bradford Grange.
A veteran of the US Army, he served during WW II as a Technician 4th Grade with the 126th Ordinance Medium Maintenance Company.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne C. (Carns) Natoli, whom he married September 17, 1949 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield,

and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister Josephine.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Monday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dennis C. Hadberg as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Military honors will be accorded at the Cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion and VFW Posts.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-9 PM, and on Monday from 10-10:30 AM.
The Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Assembly will hold a prayer vigil on Sunday at 3 PM at the funeral home.
