John Pritchard

September 20, 1926 — July 1, 2003

John W. "Jack" Pritchard, 76

of 55 Nelson Road, Clearfield died on Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

He was born on September 20, 1926 in Clearfield, a son of the late John Brennan and Sadie (Pritchard) Ogden and was raised by his grandparents, the late Eli and Annie Pritchard.

Mr. Pritchard was previously employed with the carpenters union. Prior to that he worked for the former Robison Clay Products, the former Martell Mining and the former Lingle Mining.
He attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Clearfield, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars F. Michael Sicks Post #1785 of Clearfield and a life member of the Glen Richey Sportsman Club. He served in the US Navy on the USS Idaho in the Pacific Islands during WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy E. (Stiner) Pritchard, whom he married July 19, 1947 in Goshen Township,

and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra L. Godissart.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at
11:00 A.M. with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion and VFW Posts.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6-9:00 PM and on Saturday from
9-11:00 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Mrs. Dorothy Pritchard, 55 Nelson Road, Clearfield, PA 16830.
