Joseph L. "Joe" Hummel, 41
formerly of West Decatur and most recently of Lakeland, FL died on Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Florida.
He was born on March 28, 1961 in Clearfield, a son of Melva (Butler) Hummel and Benny Knepp of DuBois and Jesse Hummel and Catherine Ardary of West Decatur.
Mr. Hummel was employed as a professional carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Daub) Hummel

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Butler, his paternal grandfather Paul L. Hummel and an aunt and uncle.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. Michael G. Trimmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 9-11:00 AM
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Melva Hummel, 36 3/4 East Long Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801.
