Joseph Komonce, Jr., 76
of Clearfield died on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Knickerbocker Villa, Clearfield.
He was born on August 19, 1935 in Osceola Mills, a son of the late Joseph and Christina (Hendershot) Komonce, Sr.
Mr. Komonce was employed by Truhart Security, the former Superior Pet Products and the former Leitzinger Department Store.
He served with the U. S. Army from 1952 - 1962.
He is survived by his wife, Julia A. (Blake) Komonce whom he wed October 19, 1957 in Olanta; two sisters, Mary Lou Barks of AK and Dolly Harrington of IN; and three brothers, Stanley Komonce of NJ, James Komonce of WA and Robert Komonce of NE.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 501Howard Avenue, Suite D,Altoona, PA 16601 .
