Josephine M. Titanish, 95, of Stewartstown, formerly of Curwensville, died on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Inner Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation, Dallastown.
She was born on May 8, 1929 in Olanta, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Effie (Bishop) Tubbs.
Mrs. Titanish was a homemaker and also had been employed at the Curwensville Bus Station, a sewing factory in Curwensville and at Murphy's in Clearfield, when she was in her teens. She loved to be outside mowing grass and browsing flea markets.
She is survived by her son, Ed Titanish and wife Barb of Stewartstown; a grandson, Scott Titanish and wife Michelle and their children, Brody and Zoe, of Richmond, VA; a granddaughter, Danielle Walters and husband Jimmy and their children, Hailey and Hayden, of Stewartstown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Titanish; four brothers, Paul, Howard, Albert, and Alvin Tubbs; and a sister, Anna Freeman.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.
