Joshua Mayhew

Joshua David 'Maniac' Mayhew, 37, of Hyde passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023.

He was born on February 17, 1986 in Clearfield.

Josh was an assistant supervisor at Continental Carbonic Products, Clearfield. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and shooting pool. He was a Philadelphia Eagles fanatic and loved watching their games. Above all, he loved his daughters dearly and cherished the time he spent with them.

He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812, Curwensville Moose Lodge 268, Old Town Sportsmen's Club, and the Mosquito Creek Sportsmen's Club.

Josh was Methodist by faith.

He is survived by his father, Michael Mayhew and wife Lori of Clearfield; his mother, Valeria (Wendt) Walter and husband Mike of Middleburg; daughters, Kayleigh Mayhew, Olivia Mayhew, and Emily Mayhew; three sisters, Amanda Mayhew, Jamie Brown, and Shilo Walter; a brother, Tyler Quinn; grandmother, Mary Fulesday; former wife, Samantha Mayhew; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and two great nieces.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Edward H. Fulesday; grandfather, Jesse F. Mayhew and wife Christine; grandmother, Judith Confer; and a nephew, Jameson Quinn.

Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 1 PM with Pastor James L. Knepp officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 AM -1 PM.
