Judy Gardner

Judy A. Gardner, 89, of Clearfield died on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois.



She was born on August 6, 1934 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late William C. and Nellie (Smith) Lanich Benjamin.



Mrs. Gardner had been employed at Clearfield Cheese for 17 years. Judy enjoyed going to the ocean, taking bus trips, weekends at camp, and hosting family gatherings during fair week.



She is survived by her two children, William C. Gardner and wife Barbara of Clearfield, and Sandy Norris and husband Jeff of DuBois; five grandchildren, Michael Norris, Jocelyn Long, Tom Norris, Dawn Marie Tobias, and Amy Mae Baer; and ten great grandchildren.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack H. Gardner; four brothers, Merle Lanich, Edwin 'Skip' Lanich, Tom Lanich, and Leo Lanich; and a sister, Joan Aveni.



Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday at 1 PM with Pastor Paul Sheets officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.



Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 AM - 1 PM.
