Karen Lee Quick, 85, of Clearfield passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at the DuBois Village.
She was born on August 8, 1938 in DuBois, a daughter of the late Blaine and Violet (Sandberg) Johnston.
Karen enjoyed playing cards, traveling, snowmobiling, and horseback riding. She also raised miniature horses.
She is survived by four children, Lori Carlson and husband Jim of Davidson, NC, Kristi Neff and husband Steve of Red Lion, Craig Wise and wife Suzette of Clearfield, and Corey Wise and wife Jennifer of Hermitage; seven grandchildren Beau Caldwell of DuBois, Ryan Weir of Candler, NC, Lacey Lawing of Denver, NC, Taylor Wise of Wallingford, CT, Chase Wise of Fairmont, WV, Nicholas Wise of Hermitage, and Lauren Wise of Hermitage; and two great-grandchildren, Harper Lawing and Maddox Lawing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Quick. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Kephart.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 11 AM with Pastor Anthony Caiola officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 - 11 AM.
