Kenneth W. Leonard, 82, of Curwensville died on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
He was born on December 19, 1938 in Curwensville, a son of the late Kenneth B. and Mildred (Peoples) Leonard.
Mr. Leonard graduated from Curwensville High School in 1956. He served in the US Navy on board the USS Salem from 1956-1958. Then he was employed at the US Pentagon, annex office, in Washington D.C. before moving back to the Curwensville area in 1965. Mr. Leonard was employed at NARCO from 1965 until it closed in 1994. In his free time, Mr. Leonard enjoyed playing guitar with a band at different nursing homes in the area.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Caldwell) Leonard whom he wed October 14, 1961; four daughters, Catherine J. Luzier and husband Carl of Clearfield, Linda C. McKenrick and husband Mike of Clearfield, Bonnie K. Collins and husband Kevin of Richmond, VA, and Doris E. Zemba of Curwensville; nine grandchildren; a great granddaughter; a sister, Norma Bowman and husband Charles of Curwensville; a sister-in-law, Mary Leonard of Grampian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald H. Leonard; and son-in-law, Joseph Zemba.
In honor of Mr. Leonard's wishes, no services will be observed. Burial we be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
