Kenneth R. Pry, 86, of Mineral Springs passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
He was born on June 24, 1936 in Philipsburg, a son of the late Joseph and Beulah (Rowles) Pry.
Ken was a fuel truck driver for Beard Oil for over 30 years. During that time, he received his Pastoral Degree from Liberty University and was the pastor of the Mineral Springs Bible Tabernacle for 57 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ken also enjoyed talking with others and could make friends with anyone.
Mr. Pry served with the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his children, Kendrea Jury and husband Ron, Cindy Puit and husband Randy, and Nathan Pry and wife Stacey; seven grandchildren, Kurtis Jury and wife Alyson, Adam Jury and wife Briana, Anthony Jury and wife Ricki, Jordan Crock and husband Tyler, Logan Puit and companion Tessa, Ethan Pry, and Emily Pry; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Pry and wife Dorothy, Joseph Pry and wife Sandra, and Samuel Pry and wife Dolores; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carole L. (Wisor) Pry on March 20, 2022 and whom he wed August 12, 1961. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Matthew Pry; three brothers, David Pry, Albert Pry, and Richard Pry; and three sisters, Bessie Brown, Cleda Royer, and Sarah Lumadue.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 1 PM with Pastor Michael Knepp officiating. Interment will be in the Stoneville Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM - 1 PM.
