Kenneth Schultz

Kenneth L. Schultz Sr., 76, of Clearfield died on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.

He was born on March 22, 1938 in Wilcox, a son of the late Michael and Josephine (Bullers) Schultz.

Mr. Schultz was employed by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, retiring from the Black Moshannon State Park. He had also been a foreman at the Curwensville Dam. Mr. Schultz enjoyed spending his leisure time outdoors while hunting, fishing and running trap lines. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post #6 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812. A veteran of the armed services, Mr. Schultz served with the U. S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Anna (Hauserman) Schultz whom he wed April 4, 1964; four children, Leonard Schultz and wife Cheryl of Fernley, NV; Kenneth Schultz, Jr. and wife Bobbie of DuBois, Theresa Heaton and Carl of Curwensville and Cynthia Schultz and companion Gordon Martell of Clearfield; six grandchildren, Riley Schultz, Carl Heaton, III, Benjamin Heaton, Christopher and Blake Martell and Kenneth Schultz, III; a sister, Carol Doyle of DE; and three brothers, Mike Schultz of Pittsburgh, Dick Schultz and wife Iris of OH and Tom Schultz of Ulysses.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Schultz.

Services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 10 AM. Interment will follow in the McClure Cemetery, Curwensville.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 PM and on Friday from 9-10 AM.
