Kevin S Wisor Sr., 68, of Clearfield died on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
He was born on August 18, 1955 in Clearfield, a son of the late James F. Sr. and Hope (Swisher) Wisor.
Kevin had been a self-employed contractor, as well as a Federal Firearms Licensed dealer. He was the builder and owner of the former 7-24 convenience store in Woodland. Kevin had served on the Lawrence Township Recreation Board. He was very dedicated, for his entire lifetime, to Clearfield football programs. Kevin loved to go to camp with his family as well as hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed coaching his boys and umpiring baseball. However, his favorite sport was cheering on his grandchildren.
He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God where he was co-leader of the men's ministry, and past board member and Sunday School Teacher.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Bremigen) Wisor whom he wed on November 22, 1975; three sons, Kevin Wisor, Jr. of Clearfield, Kenten Wisor of Clearfield, and Kurtis Wisor and wife Suzanne of Clearfield; five grandchildren, Melanie, Madelyn, Kaleb, Krew, and Logan; and two brothers, James F. Wisor, Jr., and Kimm S. Wisor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas E. Wisor and wife Charlene.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Sunday at 4 PM with Pastor Sam Smeal officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-4 PM.
