Laurie E. Fletcher, 61, of Woodland died on Monday, June 12, 2023 at her home.
She was born on November 21, 1961 in Clearfield, a daughter of Joyce (Maines) Welker of Shiloh and the late James B. Welker.
Laurie was currently employed at LinCare in Philipsburg and affiliated with Shiloh United Methodist Church She loved crafting of many sorts, often making Christmas ornaments for family and friends as well as coloring. She enjoyed playing Bingo, flowers and never missed celebrating a holiday. Most of all, she will be remembered as being very family oriented and always enjoying cookouts and any family function.
In addition to her mother Joyce Welker of Shiloh, she is survived by her husband, Paul Fletcher; two sons, Josh Maines of Shiloh, and Garrett Maines of Shiloh; two daughters, Carrie Stump of Buckhannon, WV, and Tabitha Fletcher and husband Mark Delaney of Buckhannon, WV; four grandchildren, Kandus Sumpter, Rebecca Sumpter, Wesley, and Kaleb Delaney; a great grandson, Liam Sumpter-Veselov; a sister, Teresa Welker of Shiloh; and a brother, Justin Welker and wife Amy of Shiloh; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father James Welker, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Welker.
In honoring Laurie's wishes, there will be no services observed.
