Laurie Lanich

Laurie M. Lanich, 62, of Ansonville, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Mrs. Lanich was born August 25, 1962 in Clearfield, the daughter of the late Harry and Edith (Lewis) Biss.

Laurie retired from Global Glass in Curwensville. Prior, she had been employed at Kent's Sportswear and Appalachian Wood Products. She was a member of the Curwensville American Legion and the Curwensville VFW.

Laurie is survived by her two children, Danielle Lanich of York, and Charlie Lanich of Ansonville,; two sisters, Linda (Dick) Passmore, and Shirley McGarry; and brother, Harry (Janet) Biss. Laurie is also survived by her friend, Chick Sunderland; her mother-in-law, Nancy Lanich; as well as many other family members that loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dan 'Buddha' Lanich on February 27, 2022.

A celebration of life will be held in the future.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic, 1380 Shawville Highway, Woodland, PA 16881.
