Lee R. Conklin, 78, of State College passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
He was born on June 27, 1944 in Clearfield, a son of the late Allen and Violet (Croft) Conklin.
Lee was a lifelong hunter and target shooter. He loved spending time outside and at the shooting range.
He was a member of the State College Alliance Church
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Garito) Conklin whom he wed June 10, 1972; his son, David Conklin and wife Erin of Saratoga Springs, NY; two granddaughters, Olivia and Madeline Conklin; two brothers-in-law, James 'Jim' Garito and wife Debbie, and John Garito; and four sisters-in-law, Mae Galio and husband Don, Phyllis Galio and husband Jim, Sandra Erhard, and Mary Ann Heller and husband Robert.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Historic Crown Crest Cemetery.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
