Leo W. Young, 67
of 502 S. Second Street, Clearfield died on Thursday, August 29, 2002 at his residence.
He was born on June 29, 1935 in Clearfield, PA, a son of the late Clyde Edward and Mary Emma (Shimmel) Young.
Mr. Young retired in 1995 from Preston Trucking having driven truck for UPS and Clearfield Truck Rentals. After retiring, he worked as a gas attendant at Satterlee Gas Station.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield and served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Sandora (Toto) Young, whom he married July 7, 1956 in St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Saturday at
10:00 AM with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion and VFW Post
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from
2-4 and 7-9:00 PM.
A Christian vigil service will be said on Friday at 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 119 East Market Street, Clearfield, Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield or to the Clearfield Foundation for Health Hospice, PO Box 992, Clearfield.
